These are just a few of the accolades and awards that the 2009 Ford F-150 has amassed since the redesign for this year… and when I say just a few i don’t mean I left just one out so it sounds better, this truck has been cleaning up as the best of the best.

At Capital Ford Lincoln here in Regina, Saskatchewan we are officially the largest Ford dealer in all of the province, selling more trucks then anyone within 1000km. Ford knows trucks, and Capital Ford sells more of them than anyone around. (Speaking of cleaning up, it’s worth noting that in Canada, the F-150 has been the best selling truck for over 43 years and counting.) I’ve had the opportunity and privilege to drive a few different models. (of which there’s 7 Â trim levels, 3 engine choices, 3 cab configurations and 3 different box lengths) The biggest impact the truck had on me was the size and space available in the back of the crew cab, with a completely flat floor, and the quietness of the truck was phenomenal!
It’s been redesigned from the ground up and some exclusive features have been added, including trailer sway control, tailgate step, side box step, improved power and fuel economy – which is now best in class. To best show the truck, Ben Stadnyk agreed to be on camera. He’s going to  show some of the features and benefits of the new F-150 and what makes it the best.

Thanks for the comments guys, I just took a spin in the new 09 F-150 just last week again, It was an FX4, not the platinum that’s in the video and all BS aside, it is one of the nicest vehicles I’ve ever driven.
Working at the dealership and giving that type of statement would make anyone skeptical, but it’s so quiet and the new 6 speed transmission gives you tons of jam at the bottom end and shifts silky smooth. I still can’t get over how quiet it is and I hope if your reading this and in a market for a truck you come and take one for a spin, you won’t be disappointed!!
The feel I got was genuine excitement – I hope its nothing shy of that for folks who come shopping for one.
