Capital Cares is an initiative to improve the work place and the community. That is formed by the employees of Capital Pontiac Buick Cadillac GMC, Capital Ford Lincoln, Universal Collision Centre, McKenzie Sales and Leasing and Thrifty Car and Truck Rental (Regina and Saskatoon), for the employees. The committee’s goal is to enhance the presence of team work between the employees of the different stores. The five main goals are to improve employee’s satisfaction, community involvement/charity work, communication improvement, unity among stores, and to enhance lives within the team of the Capital Automotive Group.
In 2008 Capital Cares developed a business relationship with Rosemont Community School in Regina. We wanted to create and sustain a direct, ongoing and mutually beneficial partnership with a school with hopes that by focusing on one community that we would make a bigger impact.
Our overall goal is to provide additional resources, experiences and opportunities for the students, parents and community. In forming our relationship we wish to present the children with direction toward future education and professional development; and overall enhancing the student experience. In helping Rosemont School we anticipate it will help us achieve our Capital Cares Committee goal of becoming more involved with the community, and developing a stronger bond among the Capital Automotive Group employees.
Capital Cares is thrilled to continue planning and organizing events for our partnership and was proud when we received the formal announcement from the Regina Public School Board that our partnership had been accepted.
