It’s terrible that I find this so funny? Seeing people panic and freak out when nothing is actually wrong is hilarious! This prank is a little too elaborate to pull off on the fly with the rubber tail light, but is fun none the less! Have you ever pulled or fallen victim to such an elaborate prank?

Funny Friday – Runnin’ From the Cops!

For the first Funny Friday of March we’re pullin’ out an oldy’ but a godie! If you haven’t seen this Ford Mustang video yet it’s hilarious.

What’s best about this video is it’s pretty believable. I can totally see Regina’s finest pulling a stunt like this with a poor young guy sitting in the back of a squad car, lord knows there’s tons of rookies cruising around Regina in the white crown vic’s with the big numbers on the side who would love to pull this off.

At the heart of it all is some pure fun which is what the Mustang does best. Whether you’re having fun trying to impress a guy/girl with you car or getting a rush ripping out to Moose Jaw or Saskatoon, the Ford Mustang is perfect…. mostly perfect, not exactly wonderful for winter. Just make sure when your having fun you don’t run into a situation that could put you in the shoes of the poor guy in the video!

Funny Friday – Mustang is Far To Cool

The Onion News is the king of satire and it’s tongue in cheek articles are often criticized for being far to over the top but most times you can’t help snikering at their off the wall articls. Below is a great example involving the Ford Mustang. I thought it was appropriate to bring a little levity to recalls given the current buzz around the automotive industry.

DETROIT—-Ford officials issued a massive recall of the entire Mustang line Tuesday, apologizing for a quality-control oversight that led to the company manufacturing a badass muscle car that was way too awesome for the American public. “We deeply regret this lapse in judgment and accept full responsibility for the mistake,” Ford CEO Alan R. Mulally said standing beside a gorgeous, cherry-red vehicle recalled for being “way too smoking.” “After numerous road tests, we’ve found the car to be a mean, mean ride that Americans are simply not cool enough to handle, and it would be irresponsible of us to allow anyone to get behind the wheel of this killer car. It’s truly frightening how sweet the Mustang is.” According to Mulally, Ford has canceled production on the 2011 Mustang, and will instead release a line of fuel-efficient vehicles in an effort to appeal to boring old Americans.

A Little Tailgate Time With Guillermo

If you watch “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” you probably know Guillermo, Kimmel’s jovial sidekick. It seems that, it has been Guillermo’s lifelong dream to appear on a float during the Mardi Gras Tucks parade in New Orleans. At one point, Guillermo eats “muffaletta” sandwiches with New Orleans Saints running back Pierre Thomas before acquiring sage advice from Saints safeties Roman Harper and Darren Sharper. Where else could this take place but on the tailgate of a 2010 Ford F-150.

European Ford’s To Make Appearance In Canada

Yeah, I know… there’s nothing funny about that title at all. In fact it’s true, European Ford’s are on their way to Canada in the form of a fun, compact, stylish and if I can use the term “wicked” car named Fiesta. We just hope they bring some of the features that we’ve seen in some of the Ford’s over there like the Ka. Yeah, that’s really its name, Ka. Check out the video below to see what we mean!

And I Thought Our Snowstorm Was Bad

In the wake of a two day snowstorm onslaught in the final week of January, folks in Regina we’re left with snowdrifts half way up front doors and driveways housing marooned cars and trucks. Folks with 4×4 and snow tires we’re counting their luck stars as they became the only movable autos for a day. In the spirit of Funny Friday, I thought it would be great to show that even thow it was inconvenient to be caught in this two day affair that things could always be worse.

Do you have any stories about the snowstorm? Neighbors coming together to help get a vehicle unstuck or to help shovel a driveway? Anything funny happen during or after the storm? Let us know in the comments!

Can Ford tempt the “The Tonight Show” host, Conan O’Brien, to give up his 1992 Ford Taurus SHO for the 2010 model? Will more horsepower, shiny paint, massaging seats and a center console minus dirt and hair persuade O’Brien?

The TV star’s long-running relationship with his 1992 Ford Taurus SHO was challenged when the all-new 2010 Taurus SHO made an appearance on the late-night comedy show on October 29, 2009. A national audience saw firsthand whether O’Brien’s loyal love for his Jewel Green SHO could be tempted with the latest SHO head-turner from Ford.

O’Brien’s second-generation Taurus SHO has been the focus of the late night comedian’s skits many times including during O’Brien’s premier as host of “The Tonight Show” earlier this year.

During the skit O’Brien, who is confident there could never be a better performance sedan than his 1992 Taurus SHO, is tempted by the 2010 model’s 365-horespower V-6 and its high tech features.
