Capital Ford, Capital GMC and Universal Collision enjoyed an awesome day last week at the JDRF Golf Tournament! A grand total of $52,000 was raised that day in support of juvenile diabetes! Thank you to everyone who came out and supported such a great cause!
A special thanks to our title sponsors Universal Collision and Travelodge Hotel who helped organize the entire event. With over 50 sponsors and numerous volunteers, the day was definitely a success!
The tournament was located at Flowing Springs Golf Course. A delicious barbecue was served before tee time… burgers, beef on a bun, salads, cookies, you name it! Although there was a little wind and rain throughout the day, the golfers were still able to bring their game.
There were a variety of events and hole sponsors. The Knotted Thistle had a caber toss game set up at their sponsor hole, Capital Ford had a hole in one Ford Mustang prize..unfortunately nobody got the hole in one… next time! 
and Safeway Pharmacy had a demonstration of testing glucose levels to show you what the proper blood sugar levels are.
The fun filled day of golf, drinks and laughs was followed by a banquet back at the Travelodge Hotel where an awesome meal was served. Chicken, roast beef, perogies, cabbage rolls… and red velvet cake for dessert.. it was to die for!
