Welcome – Come Take a Seat With Us

Welcome to the Capital Ford Lincoln Tailgate blog! Before we get to the meat and potatoes of the Capital Ford tailgate, I’d like to take a minute to share with you what it is that sparked the Capital Ford Tailgate blog, which like us, you may come to simply call it – The Tailgate.

The way we want to do business with you is like a dialogue, where you have questions about our products and services and we have questions about how we can best make them suit your life. Our blog intends to offer our personal and professional opinions on all aspects of our business and allows everyone who visits to start or continue those dialogues with questions, comments and opinions.

So, you get why we would want to have a blog, but why call it “The Tailgate”? It’s simple. (…and it’s not because we want to have a tailgate party every time our blog has a birthday.)

It goes without saying, Saskatchewan has a great tradition of working hard and being dedicated to getting the job done . While working, when you get the chance to take 5, you throw down the tailgate and rest your rump. Whether it be lunch time or a fiver to get some water, taking a break on the tailgate gives you the opportunity to cut through all the noise and talk with friends around you. That’s what we want to capture with our blog.

We have some great stories to share and with our blog, it will allow you to comment, ask questions and give your opinions on our business. You’ll notice that all our posts are completely open to comments and we look forward to hearing from you. You don’t have to sign in or sign up for anything, and although it’s easier for us  to respond when you give your name… that’s completely optional. We look forward to sitting on the tailgate with you soon, and often. What do you think, and what would you like to hear about?

WHAT GREAT INFORMATION FOR OUR CUSTOMERS COME WALKAROUND TIME OR AS INFORMATION FOR OUR CUSTOMERS ON JUST HOW MUCH TESTING AND TIME IS PUT INTO THE VEHICLE THEY ARE BUYING. TESTING TO RIDICULOUS LEVELS TO ENSURE A QUALITY PRODUCT!

I wouldn’t mind hearing more information from a maintenance perspective for my vehicle. Is there anything “green” I can do to make my vehicle last longer?

    Sincerely Ethel

Thanks for your question Ethel. There is a tremendous amount of information we can provide on maintaining your vehicle AND some “green” things you can do to maintain your vehicle along with some green driving tips for all around conservation.

I will make it a priority to make sure we get some great maintenance points and tips up for you and if you have something specific in mind, I might even be able to get one or two of our mechanics on film and post it up as a video response for you.

If you’d like you can simply respond on here with what you’d like to know specifically or you can email me at mitchg@capitalfordlincoln.ca. It’s not necessary but if you could include your vehicle make and model so that in the event that we’re able to put a video together we can attempt to demonstrate on something very similar to your vehicle making sure it’s as relevant for you as possible.

    Thanks for the feedback Ethel!

This is a great site, I look forward to checking back regularly. I bought a Lincoln SUV from you guys just 3 weeks ago and will use this as an outlet for many questions I’m sure.
