The 2010 Ford Taurus has been out for a while and is a serious game changer. At our Regina Ford store, we’ve seen huge demand and a dramatic increase in our full size sedans. The Taurus has been featured on our blog a few times already to! From titles like “Can you get the high score?” where the Taurus is featured in an high rez online game to “Ford Taurus: The High Tech Family Car” featuring its blind spot monitoring and self parking system, park assist. The Taurus even made an appearance in a Funny Friday where it was on the Tonight Show back when Conan was still around and pitted against his real life 1992 Taurus SHO, check out the 2010 Taurus in a Funny Friday.
A question that needs to be asked when a claim is made to be “innovative” or “game changing” is how and why, more importantly what would that do for me if I was driving it to work everyday or to get groceries on the weekend or taking the kids to the rink. The kind of stuff that we all do but sometimes gets lost on big companies like car makers when they’re selling a product.
Over the course of the next month we’re going to feature 5 different posts about the 2010 Ford Taurus on our blog to show you a few of the in’s and outs of why this car can make the claims its does. We’ll start with the most brutal, and my favorite… the Gravel Truck test! It puts the Taurus neck and neck with the Lexus LS 460 directly behind a gravel truck with the gate slightly ajar pelting the poor vehicles with marble to golf ball size rocks! I would be so angry and upset that I’d throw up if this ever happened driving down Pasqua behind a dump truck!
Check it out now and stay tuned for next week when we show off the blind spot monitoring system.
